Opeyemi has over seven years of diverse work experience in the public and private sectors in Nigeria, in financial and non-financial institutions. He has experience in Financial Reporting, Financial Management, Internal Auditing, Compliance, Tax Computations, Data Analysis, Budgeting, and Logistics Management.

He worked with YOX Water Limited, Abuja as a Financial Accountant where he summarized current financial status by collecting information: preparing profit and loss statements, and other reports monthly, securing financial information by completing database backups, reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information, prepared tax computations, and documented financial transactions by entering account information.

Opeyemi also held a position as an Internal Control and Compliance Officer at the SRS Empowerment Foundation where he reviewed compliance with established key controls in finance, operations management, human resources, IT, partnerships, security, supply chain, and programs, prepared and regularly update the master list of all external and internal audit actions while following up with process owners to update and share the progress on audit actions, and raised fraud awareness across the entire workforce.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Certification in Data Analytics, and a Certified Stores & Materials Manager. Opeyemi is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Certified Institute of Warehousing and Materials Management (CIWM) respectively.
